Dreamweaver Class Notes, Day 2…Fireworks & Dreamweaver – making a background

To create a textured background that is outside of the website…
In Fireworks:
– Create your texture in a square area (no bigger than 100 x 100)
– Save to your images folder (name it something like “background”)
– Go to the in fireworks Export Wizard and save and optimize.


In Dreamweaver:
> modify
> page properties
> appearance
> background image, (browse for in your images folder)
> viola! it becomes a background
