I just found a new-to-me part of flickr – a library of congress pilot project, in which folks are asked to help “tag” the images to make them more browsable…which is a great idea. But better – it is a great portal into the Library’s wide variety of collections – many of the photos are in public domain!

Right now they have color photos from the 30s and 40s, and news of the 1910s. Very cool.
